About Dr. Soo K. Song

Dr. Soo K. Song is excited to help establish good oral health for your children! As a board-certified pediatric dentist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry at USC, Dr. Song practices conservative and comprehensive care on her young patients to reach their optimal dental growth.

Dr. Song was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in San Jose, CA. After graduating from UCLA with a BS in Biochemistry and MS in Physiological Science, she went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. She was awarded numerous scholarships including the AAPD Predoctoral Student Award, given to one senior dental student for showing most promise in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Song was also granted membership into the renowned Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Fraternity for her academic achievements in the top 12% of her class. She then served as Chief Resident and completed advanced training in pediatric dentistry with NYU Langone at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA. Her training included sedation dentistry, management of dental trauma, and the treatment of children with special health care needs.

As an advocate of philanthropic causes, Dr. Song has worked as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. She also actively serves at her church as a dedicated staff member and Sunday School teacher. Her favorite hobbies include snowboarding with her husband, exploring new cooking recipes, playing video games, and singing along to k-pop songs!
